Richard is one of our in-house brokers, specialising in adverse credit, first-time buyer mortgages, self-employment, different income types, and Shared Ownership.
He is a CeMAP-qualified mortgage specialist, as well as possessing a CII Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning and a BA in Anthropology. During his 24 years in financial services, Richard has helped thousands of customers secure a mortgage.
Richard is a committed mortgage advisor who takes great pride in building long-term relationships with his clients. He’s known for going the extra mile to ensure every client receives the best possible advice and support, often helping them through life-changing financial decisions with care and clarity.
Outside of work, Richard is a keen musician and plays bass guitar in a couple of bands, including a reformed ’90s group that performs at festivals. He’s also a devoted family man, spending weekends with his wife and two children, exploring local heritage sites, and enjoying the outdoors.
Having lived across Europe and various UK cities, including Naples, Bristol, London, and now Nottingham, Richard brings a well-travelled perspective to his work and life. He’s passionate about music, history, and helping clients feel confident and supported throughout their mortgage journey.
