About Sheridan
Sheridan is one of our in-house brokers specialising in adverse credit and buy-to-lets. He also reviews our content as part of our expert review panel to help maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance, and impartiality. He is a CeMAP and CeRER-qualified mortgage specialist.
Sheridan has worked in financial services since 2000 and has a keen focus on helping customers with bad credit. He assists clients with low credit scores, bankruptcies, CCJs, defaults, IVAs, and DMPs. He won our Insurance Hero accolade at the 2020 OMA Awards! He’s also experienced in assisting self-employed individuals and helping people with unique income circumstances, such as contractors or people with only a year of trading history.
Sheridan is a passionate mortgage adviser with a strong focus on customer service, driven by a frustrating personal experience when buying a home. After facing slow, inaccurate advice and poor communication between professionals, he realised it didn’t have to be that difficult. Now, he supports clients from their first appointment to completion, making the process as smooth, clear, and stress-free as possible.
Outside of work, he’s a proud parent of five (three biological children and two stepchildren) and lives with his partner, Hannah and their four daughters. A dedicated Formula One fan, he’s attended dozens of Grands Prix and proudly boasts an unbeaten record of seeing Lewis Hamilton win live. He also holds the quirky title of never losing at the Cereal Box game, although he’s now officially retired!
In his spare time, he enjoys flying model aircraft and spending time with his Border Terrier, Rudy. Chosen for being a low-maintenance breed, though Rudy has proven otherwise. He’s even traced his family tree back 28 generations to William the Conqueror. At OMA, Sheridan is committed to helping the platform become the most loved name in mortgages, always putting the client at the heart of the journey.
