Freelance Writers

We need writers with the write stuff.

We need writers who understand words and the effect they have on people.

We need writers who can research a subject from a basic brief and then work SEO keywords and phrases into your article smoothly and seamlessly.

A good understanding of the financial services, property and the mortgage industry would be a bonus, but an understanding of SEO is a definite must.

We’re aiming to write 60 articles a month of 1,000 words plus, so there’s plenty of work for those who want it, and full-time positions are available for the right people.

You set the deadlines, you set how many articles you want to write each week.

You’ll need follow our writing guidelines and the way we work, so we’ll provide the necessary training and guidance.

We’re offering competitive remuneration on either a freelance ‘per article’ basis or full-time position.

The Role

We are building a team of specialist financial writers to continue our growth in the specialist sector. Writers will structure, research, produce and edit content to provide accurate information for those who need it most, playing a pivotal part in the customer journey toward getting the right advice.

The role will be flexible, target driven, with a real focus on quality and accuracy, and offers some incredible benefits for the right individual who wants to come and be part of something that can and does, really make a difference.

This role is also available to freelancers.

The Individual

The OMA team of writers will have experience in Mortgage and Financial services, and already have a great understanding of the market, particularly how mortgage lending criteria looks and works.

This may be someone who has worked as a BDM, Advisor, in underwriting, or in lender press and marketing teams.

The right person will also embody our core values of Knowledge & Mastery, Generosity, Empathy & Understanding, Trust & Ownership, Care & Honesty, and perhaps most importantly, Friendliness & Fun!
