The Role

What is CRM?

CRM starts at customer data, uses this data to speak to customers in a relevant and timely way and then gives us the ability to report on the net benefit of our activity. This doesn’t just mean SMS & Email campaigns (albeit building and deploying these are a large part of the role), it can also include personalised social targeting, website development to improve customer journey, data quality, enrichment to improve our understanding of customer segments, and more.

As enquiry numbers continue to grow rapidly the business has recognised a need to better serve and nurture customers through CRM channels to build a community and improve conversion of dormant/return enquiries.

This CRM Assistant role will focus on the following deliverables:

  • Build customer engagement rates through non-acquisition campaigning.
  • Build trust and reputation within our community
  • Originate interactive and engaging content
  • Work cross functionally with website marketing to improve customer experience

The Person

The person we are looking for will be the right fit for the business & team, over and above academic history, and whilst credentials and proven experience are important, we feel the following are essential requirements for successful delivery:

  • A dynamic problem solver
  • Pragmatic decision maker.
  • Collaborative, approachable, and a team player, with a fun and positive attitude
  • Comfortable to challenge and be challenged without ego
  • Ability to work dynamically in a small team to meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Foresight and awareness to think ahead and anticipate potential roadblocks in advance
  • A sleeve-roller. Someone unafraid to get their hands dirty and stuck in wherever needed and confident enough to do/try new things.

Experience

Essential:

 

  • Willingness to learn & understand the power of CRM - Again you don’t need to be an expert already, we’ll take the time to explain and train you so that you soon you will be.
  • Good eye for attention to detail primarily with regards to data & analytics but also design.
  • Huge amounts of creativity with a high attention to detail.

Nice to haves:

  • Marketing-related work experience.
  • HTML email development experience.
  • Experience using CRM Solutions (like Salesforce Marketing Cloud) or a mass email marketing deployment system.
