Online Mortgage Advisor employs a team of dedicated content and marketing specialists with experience in finance, and we work with expert mortgage brokers who have whole-of-market knowledge and niche expertise.

The advisors we’ve teamed up with all hold Financial Conduct Authority-recognised qualifications including CeMAP and are passionate about helping customers secure the finance they need, whatever their background.

About our team

Knowledge and mastery are among our core values and we pride ourselves on the expertise our team can provide. Our website is an emporium of up-to-date mortgage information, written by content experts with years of experience in the finance and property sectors, and rigorously fact-checked and signed off by mortgage brokers.

When you make an enquiry with us, our dedicated team will make sure you’re matched with the right mortgage expert for your needs and circumstances. We only pair our customers up with brokers who are the best in the business, and we’re picky about who we work with.

You can find out more about how Online Mortgage Advisor started in our About Us section.

To ensure you’re getting the right advice and a five-star service, we vet all of the brokers we work with and train them up ourselves. All advisors must pass a LIBF Accredited Development Program at our Advisor Academy before they can join the network.

Writing policy

All of the articles you’ll find on our websites are a collaboration between expert brokers and professional writers with vast experience in finance and property content production. Our writers draft the articles with input from mortgage advisors and SEO experts, and the brokers in our network proof the final product, checking it for accuracy and compliance.

None of our articles contain financial advice but instead give information on various topics, in line with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations. Our website is an emporium of information that will help prepare you for your free, no-obligation consultation with the mortgage brokers we work with.

Pete Mugleston, Managing Director

Pete is one of our co-founders and an expert in all things mortgages. He cut his teeth right in the middle of the credit crunch when plenty of people needed help finding finance, but few UK mortgage providers were actually lending and the right advice was hard to come by.

Pete found great success in going the extra mile to find mortgages for people whom many others considered lost causes. The experience he gained, coupled with his love of helping people reach their goals, inspired him to establish Online Mortgage Advisor.
