About Jo
Jo’s main focus for Online Mortgage Advisor involved the curation of engaging, quality content for the website, working closely with former content manager, Michael Whitehead.
A key aspect of this process included collaborating with the mortgage brokers we work with, using their unique insight and experience, to present the information in an accurate, easy-to-understand, structure.
The wide range of subjects Jo has covered include mortgage equity release schemes, how to apply for a mortgage if you live overseas and how different types of bad credit can affect your chances of securing the borrowing you need.
Career Background
Jo has over 14 years of experience as a writer and journalist. She is the creator and founder of the multi-award-winning lifestyle blog Slummy Single Mummy, where she writes about a variety of different subjects from food, travel and managing your finances. In 2019 she released her debut novel – Playgroups & Prosecco: The (mis)adventures of a single mum.
Jo has also hosted numerous podcasts and is involved with a range of other regular marketing disciplines such as creating e-newsletters, leading social media campaigns and writing press releases.
